Sellnook is an online marketplace platform that enables independent sellers to list physical goods for sale and buyers to purchase them. Sellnook acts as a platform intermediary — we are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sellnook. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
Placing orders: When you place an order you enter into a binding agreement with the seller. You agree to pay the full listed price including applicable shipping costs.
Payment: All payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. By providing payment information you authorize the charge for the full order amount.
Buyer protection: Sellnook offers buyer protection for items not received, items significantly not as described, or items arriving damaged. You must open a dispute within 30 days of the expected delivery date. Sellnook's decision on disputes is final.
Returns: Return policies are set by individual sellers and shown on each listing. If no return policy is stated, all sales are final unless covered by buyer protection.
Listings: By listing an item you confirm that you own it, have the right to sell it, and that your listing accurately describes the item. Misleading listings are grounds for account suspension.
Fees: Sellnook charges a transaction fee on each sale — 8% for free accounts and 4% for Pro Seller accounts. Pro Seller accounts are charged a monthly subscription fee of $19. Fees are deducted from your payout automatically.
Shipping: Sellers are responsible for shipping items within their stated processing time. Failure to ship may result in automatic refunds and account penalties.
Payouts: Payouts are processed via Stripe or PayPal after the buyer's 30-day protection window closes. Sellnook reserves the right to hold payouts pending dispute resolution.
Taxes: Sellers are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on their sales. Sellnook does not provide tax advice.
The following are strictly prohibited on Sellnook:
Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
By uploading content to Sellnook (photos, descriptions, shop branding), you grant Sellnook a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace. You retain ownership of your content.
Sellnook's name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without written permission.
Sellnook provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by sellers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sellnook's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid in fees to Sellnook in the 3 months prior to the claim. Sellnook is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold Sellnook harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform, your listings, your transactions, or your violation of these terms.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@sellnook.com. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your listings will be removed and any pending payouts subject to dispute resolution will be handled per our standard process.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Maryland.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
